A Pen-pal’s Letter

Published by wongray at 5:37 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Dear Jo,

Hello! This is Meg from
Africa. I am very glad to be your pen-pal.

I live in
Togo, one of the poorest countries of the world. People here are poor, but we are happy. Happiness is not related to money. We have to work very hard for own living, but we always think that we have got enough.

I love chatting with other kids, we do not have many toys, but we know how to make many toys. We play paper planes, paper-scissors-stone… We are poor, but we are happy.

Nowadays, I know that many kids have computers, NDSs, PSPs… I think these things are not important, of course they can bring happiness to people, but, the real happiness is in our heart.

Yours,Meg
