I came by this fun site called nontoxin.com. It promises no tech, no politics and no gossip. Every post consists of great short stories that illustrate certain lessons for us to improve our character, creativity or wisdom. Eventhough the posts are not updated frequently, there are enough for readers to entertain themselves for a long while. Hopefully, by then they will have recruited more regular writers.

A couple of impressive stories include:

Are tomatoes a fruit or a vegetable ?

The art of not giving up .

How to win at rock paper scissors ?

If you crave for intelligent and mind-blowing stories, you’d find yourself returning all the time, craving for more.

But, I cannot stop looking at her. She is so…you know, ATTRACTIVE. Gold hair, big eyes, and long, pale legs… OH MY GOD! I cannot stop from looking at her. She is such a beauty!

I tried to control my mind, ‘WONG RAY!! You fool! You will not do that, right? She is a trouble!’ She looked at me quietly with her sad eyes. ‘Can you see how beautiful she is? Ray, you love her!’ another sound in my heart said.

I said, ‘Well… I will…’

I don’t know what love is about. But when it comes, it comes like that.

The girl is my new pet. I finally bring her back home. She is a golden retriever called Bronzy.

The Chinese New Year is an important festival for the Chinese people.Chinese people give out red packets and presents at the Chinese New Year. But, some of the poor children cannot get red packets or presents at this happy festival.

In a small place of China, Hong Kong, there is a small kid, who has a heart with big love.

The child is Richard Lee. He is just 6, but he can think like an adult. Once on the Chinese New Year Day, he saw a little
boy begged for money on the street. Richard thought, ‘I am happy in the Chinese New Year, but there are many kids cannot have a happy festival!’

He thought of a plan – donate one of his red packets and presents to the poor children. He first advertised this plan to his classmates and had very good results. In a year, he advertised this plan to the whole Hong Kong and had very good response.

In the next Chinese New Year, near 50000 kids received a red packet and a present. They all cried happily when they received their presents with LOVE.

People called Richard The Father Chinese New Year.

It will tell you the answer.Do you still remember Father Patrick? He taught me to read more books, expecially novels. ‘You may know many words and tenses by reading!’While I was reading, I discovered that many novels are only suitable for adults. They are written in very difficult English, and the content are so BORING. ANd the most serious point is, WHERE’S THE PICTURES?I told Father Patrick about this. Father Patrick suggested, ‘Ray, what about write some stories for children yourself?’ When I was small, I did not write stories myself, but when I had my first child who loves listening to stories SO much, I really tried what Father Patrick suggested!!

I am not sure are my stories amusing, but I just want to apply some easy-reading stories for children. Hope you will supports me!!
